Inexperienced Boulevard Housing, HRH Holdings, and Good Works are set to host a celebration for the grand opening of Modest Patuxent Senior Apartments in Gambrills, Maryland. The event will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
Modest Patuxent Senior Apartments is a new mixed-use development that includes a commercial space for a restaurant and affordable housing for seniors. The project is a result of a collaboration between the three developers and is aimed at providing much-needed affordable housing for seniors in the area. The financing for the project includes a Low Income Housing Tax Credit investment from The Richman Group, loans from the Maryland DHCD, and a HOME loan from Arundel Community Development Services.
“We are proud to have partnered with Good Works and HRH Holdings to bring the development of Villages at Little Patuxent to fruition, and to serve the future senior residents of Anne Arundel County,” said Joe Buckley, Senior Building Supervisor of Green Boulevard Housing.
The grand opening event will be held at 1074 MD Rt 3, Gambrills, MD at 2:00 PM on September 5, 2024. The development will offer 78 units of affordable senior apartment housing, catering to seniors in the Gambrills area with a mix of one and two-bedroom units for individuals earning between 30-60% of the area median income.
Green Boulevard Housing is a Maryland-based developer known for its green-building practices, including Energy Star building practices and on-site solar power production. HRH Holdings, based in Annapolis, focuses on commercial acquisitions and redevelopment, with a strong commitment to bringing more affordable housing options to Anne Arundel County. Good Works, with over 25 years of experience in affordable housing development, has created over 700 affordable apartment units for both families and seniors.
The grand opening celebration of Modest Patuxent Senior Apartments promises to be a milestone event in the effort to provide quality affordable housing options for seniors in the Gambrills area.
