Are you passionate about climate action? Join the student leadership council for the 2023 Georgia Climate Conference and make a difference!

The Georgia Climate Project (GCP) is seeking student representatives from academic partners to sit on a council dedicated to fostering student involvement in the conference.

As a state-wide consortium, GCP aims to enhance awareness of climate impacts and solutions in Georgia and pave the way for effective climate action. Visit www.GeorgiaClimateProject.org to learn more about our initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Developing a student presentation plan
  2. Coordinating student volunteers
  3. Organizing a photography contest
  4. Planning pre-conference events

We are looking for candidates with a team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for climate advocacy. Experience with MailChimp, Canva, WordPress, and Wix is a plus but not required.

Key Details

  • Fully remote position with potential for in-person/hybrid work
  • Monthly meetings and planning sessions
  • Attendance at the 2023 Georgia Climate Conference
  • Start date in mid-January, end date in mid-May
  • Open to undergraduate and graduate students from various institutions
