Huasun liefert innerhalb von drei Monaten 1,8 GW HJT-Module für riesiges Solarprojekt im Nordwesten Chinas

Huasun Power, a leading solar energy company based in XUANCHENG, China, has achieved a significant milestone in the mainstream adoption of Heterojunction (HJT) solar modules. The company successfully produced and delivered 1.8 GW of HJT modules for the China Inexperienced Building Funding Staff (CGDG) in just three months, starting from May 2024.

These modules are destined for the ambitious 4 GW PV project in Ruoqiang, Xinjiang, China. This delivery marks Huasun’s involvement in the two largest Heterojunction Solar projects globally. With over 7 GW of HJT products delivered to more than 40 countries, Huasun has established itself as the largest HJT manufacturer in the industry. Notably, the company has supplied over 650 MW for HJT projects undertaken by the reputable Bulgarian EPC company, INERCOM.

The Ruoqiang project, located on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert in northwestern China, represents a significant technological advancement with substantial ecological and social benefits. The panels, covering an area of approximately 9,688 acres, help lower soil temperatures and regulate the desert’s heat balance. Installed at a height of three meters, the modules increase soil moisture content by 30 to 60%, highlighting the synergy between renewable energy generation, sustainable development, and ecological soil restoration.

Huasun’s selection as a supplier for the Ruoqiang project was based on the high reliability of its Heterojunction Solar modules, equipped with UV protection film and edge sealing. These features ensure excellent performance in the desert climate of the project site. The high bifaciality and efficiency of the modules maximize sunlight absorption, ensuring reliable and efficient power generation. Additionally, Huasun’s substantial production capacity of 20 GW enabled the company to deliver 1.8 GW of its Himalaya G12-132 modules within just three months.

This achievement showcases the remarkable “Huasun Speed” and solidifies the company’s leadership position in manufacturing Heterojunction Solar modules to the highest standards. It also underscores the pivotal role of HJT technology in achieving the lowest possible levelized cost of electricity for large-scale PV projects, a goal set to be realized as early as 2024.
